On 23-24 of January, we gave a tour to runners participating in the Khonkaen International Marathon. Runners from Thailand and many other countries joined the tour and we had a lot of fun together. This was free tour sponsored by TAT, KKU and Khonkaen Tourist Business Association. We were sorry to see them go when we dropped them off at the airport. To make the travel time more enjoyable, we held our famous “Burning Chicken” dance which was enjoyed by all. We were also treated to children’s songs from various countries sung by the runners. It sounded as if we had gone back to kindergarten school, hee hee. My thanks to everyone—and especially Andy (who eats bread) and so acted as our English translator, hee hee.... This is a free tour each year and we really love to see you all again in 2011!
